Atty. John Castriciones has a Masters degree in Comparative and International Law from the Notre Dame University, London Law Centre, United Kingdom. He has an undergraduate degree in Political Science wherein he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and has considerable units at the Philippine Military Academy.
With two decades of law practice, John has handled cases not just before the regular courts, but also before administrative and quasi-judicial bodies such as the LTFRB, NLRC, CIAP, SEC, BID, and also the Offices of the Ombudsman, Sandiganbayan, Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court. His cases involve a wide range of law: from criminal and civil, as well as maritime, transportation, corporate, real estate, construction, immigration, and labor, among others. He served as counsel in the Senate Legislative Inquiry Committee on Public Order on illegal gambling (jueteng) and issues on electoral fraud. John was previously a Director-3 at the Department of Transportation and Communications.
John has taught in the Arellano Law School, as well as lectured for the Supreme Court’s MCLE program on international law, political law, criminal law, corporation law, obligations and contracts, sales and ethics. His lectures also include speaking before police officers and security agencies on law enforcement. He is an author of several books which include: “Political Vengeance and Societal Perdition: Rational Internal Revolution” and “PMA Hazing Case: A General’s Son Dies”, which shed light on the Philippine political and military situation.
John is presently an anchorperson for the Radio program “Brother John and Sister Fel” together with his wife at Radio Veritas 846 AM radio.
